Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting safe, lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing around the world through certification and education. Their 12 principles include compliance with laws, workplace regulations and working hours in accordance with local laws. Compliance with environmental rules and regulations, and also customs laws. They prohibit the use of forced labour, child labour and any forms of discrimination. WRAP ensures the workplace is safe and healthy, that there is compensation and benefits available for workers, and that there is freedom to join a worker’s association.
SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) is a not-revenue driven association situated in London. They are a membership organisation that provides one of the world’s leading online platforms for companies to manage and improve working conditions in global supply chains. They provide practical tools, services, and a community network to help companies improve their responsible and sustainable business practices, and source responsibly.
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) applies to any non-food product containing 95-100 percent organic material. It verifies the presence and amount of organic material in a final product and tracks the flow of the raw material from its source to the final product.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 6.5 million members and supporters. They focus their attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: in laboratories, in the food industry, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. The PETA-Approved Vegan logo guarantees animal-free products.
Oeko-Tex certification is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It guarantees that products are harmless to the human environment and takes into account many regulated and non-regulated substances which may be harmful to health. The Oeko-Tex certification also ensures that textile products have been manufactured in sustainable processes under environmentally friendly and socially responsible working conditions. It is a widely recognized textile standard around the globe and certifies high product safety in the global apparel and footwear industry.

REACH Certificate of Compliance is a document certifying that a product is compliant with REACH regulations. REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) is an European Union regulation dating from 18 December 2006. REACH addresses the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment. UK REACH applies to the majority of chemical substances; those used in industrial processes and daily life, for example in cleaning products and paints, as well as in articles such as clothes, furniture and electrical appliances. Companies are required to identify and manage the risks present by substances they manufacture and market in GB
